Kim disappeared 22 years ago.
Kim’s mother, Kay Kersey Botsford, is shown in the shadow of Kim in the portrait.
Kay died in 1996 of lung cancer.
Somewhere between the shadows of life and death the truth of Kim’s disappearance exists.
I know one of you looking at this web page knows what happened to Kimberley K. Kersey.
I believe Kimberley K. Kersey is dead. I know who killed her and who has kept silent all these years.
You owe it to the memory of Kim and the reality of her death to come out of the shadows and tell those who have kept vigil how Kim died and why.

Addendum, June 18, 2009: The day I began working on the Kim Kersey case, I was on her mother's front walkway and Kim gave me a message: She told me she was dead. I asked her who killed her, and she showed me a school notepad that said "Circle K" three times (a circle with a K in the middle of it). It appeared that each time she wrote the initial "K" with the circle around it that she would tap the paper for emphasis. This information was given to the detectives who were there that day. Interest needs to be renewed in this case or Kim's death will remain a mystery, except for what I have told about it.
